It has been another fantastic season for our DPS Group sponsored Flyin Fyfer drag racing team as they once again secured the Outlaw Anglia Championship title.
In doing so, the team pushed on from their 2017 success, powered by a new and hugely more powerful engine which had the potential of 1900 horsepower.
The new engine runs Nitrous Oxide which is a power additive.
Its effects were extraordinary as the team went on to beat an eleven-year Outlaw Anglia record, knocking off 0.03 seconds to record a 7.37 second quarter mile at 185mph.
Although the season is now over, the Kinross based team are already planning for next year’s campaign.
They have set an ambitious target of delivering a time under 7.0 seconds, which will require an enormous effort.
