25 years ago, DPS Group began in a garage in Scotlandwell, Fife.
Founded in 2001 as DP Services (Scotland) Ltd by Colin Millar and Colin Burnett, the business started with a clear focus – delivering quality engineering solutions and building strong relationships.
Today, we’ve grown into a team delivering Digital Process Solutions across multiple industries, supporting clients from instrument to cloud.
But while the business has evolved, our foundations remain the same.

Commenting on the milestone, Colin Millar, Co-Founder said:
“When we started in my garage in Scotlandwell 25 years ago, we could only dream of what DPS would become. Today, I’m fortunate enough to be pursuing another lifelong dream—racing Top Fuel dragsters across Europe, with 12,000 horsepower, 0–100 mph in less than a second, and the quarter mile in just 3.8 seconds at over 300 mph. It’s a bucket-list experience, it’s certainly different from engineering projects, but just as exciting. I’m proud of everything we’ve achieved and look forward to watching DPS continue its journey.”
