DPS Group Engineering Team Strengthened by New Appointments

DPS Group today reveals the appointment of Jim Bruce & Stewart Simpson to new roles at DPS Group, part of the strengthening of our engineering operations.

DPS Group has welcomed to new colleagues recently, to supporting our engineering operations.

Jim Bruce has joined us as a project manager, and Stewart Simpson as a project engineer.

Arriving at DPS Group, Jim brings a wealth of experience working with Amec in Baku, Azerbaijan on behalf of BP with responsibility to manage mechanical, electrical instrumentation, civil and structural engineering teams.

More recently, Jim worked in the oil & gas industry, most notably working with NASA on a major project as part of Shell’s disassembly of the Brent Oil Field, focusing on Brent Delta, whose legs remain after the decommissioning of the rest of the rig.

Stewart is a time-served electrician, with many years’ experience working for Babcock at Rosyth, in London and Bristol.

He also has experience as a Computer Aided Draftsman (CAD), and High Voltage switching engineer having worked on a number of extremely high profile projects.
